Creative and direction, interactive experiences, public spaces and transmedia
At the forefront of the design and implementation of interactive experiences and deployment of transmedia content, yako is considered one of the most innovative creative directors of the new media sphere. He has won numerous national and international awards (12 Grafika, 11 Boomerang, 5 Geminis, 2 Numix, 4 FWA, Webby, SXSW, Reflet d’Or, Comm Art, Digi, TDC , ADC, etc.). – see distinctions
Partner and creative director at Epoxy Montreal-Paris between 1993 and 2005, he founded decod.ca and directed webdoc projects, interactive experiences, including transmedia fiction Emilie released in 2013 for Attraction Images and Radio-Canada.ca. This last production received the Gemini for Best Interactive Series, the Numix for Best Original Interactive Fiction and Reflet d’Or Transmédia at the festival Tous Écrans 2013 in Geneva. – see curriculum

yako has written, directed and/or produced Anarchive2 : digitalSnow for the Daniel Langlois fondation, Montreal en 12 lieux for Urbania, Creators of Emotion for Ubisoft, Du Big Bang au Vivant with Hubert Reeves, La Machine à Turlute and Les Enfants de la Bolduc, a transmedia musical and interactive webdoc (Lusio Films). His work mostly focuses on the development and production of webdocs, as well as convergent and transmedia content for different production houses. – see folio (more in french)
